The McKenzie SewOn Story

How It All Began

The McKenzie SewOn story began in 1986. Ted and Kathy Norman opened their first business in Medford, Oregon: Sew On Embroidery. They specialized in embroidering custom apparel, caps, and accessories. Three years later, the business and growing family moved to Eugene, Oregon (towing a horse trailer with their embroidery machine inside!). Six years of embroidery later, Sew On merged with Ad Art Design in 2005 and in 2007 expanded into a larger facility in Springfield, OR, soon after changing the name to McKenzie SewOn. As of March 1, 2023, McKenzie SewOn has moved to a new building in Eugene, OR that will allow us to continue to grow and expand our services.

Why We Do It

Since 1986, our team has worked to establish ourselves as your brand’s ambassador. We pride ourselves on providing the best products and services out there. As in any company, the McKenzie SewOn story sets the foundation for our core values, mission, and goals.

Our focus has always been on developing amazing partnerships. We come in to work determined to add value by not meeting, but exceeding, their expectations. But it’s not about us. We are storytellers who work behind the scenes to develop custom branded products. Our number one goal is to support our clients’ unique needs.
